Tips for Designing Posters

  • Include your name, class, project title, and institution
  • Read the guidelines for using the Concordia College Brand Mark (download below)
  • URSCA/PEAK/CONCORDIA LOGOS can be downloaded from the URSCA website
  • Ensure that your layout is simple and understandable
  • Ensure that images are at least 150 dpi
  • Make text large enough to be readable
  • Use bullets, numbering, and headings to organize text
  • Use relevant images and visualizations create visual interest 
  • Use a consistent color scheme
  • STEM students might prefer to use LaTeX or Overleaf templates to create their poster

Poster Printing

Students can work with their mentor to have posters printed through Concordia's Campus Print Shop. Allow at least 1-2 weeks for this process in your project timeline.

Submit your request through the Quick Print Request Form in Cobbernet.
