How to access library resources while studying off campus

Library resources for Students, Faculty, and Staff of Concordia College

Follow the normal Interlibrary Loan Procedure (ILL) for requesting articles while off campus. Be aware that your Interlibrary Loan article request may take 3-10 days.

1. Search by title in the Library Catalog. 

2. Click on the title of the item you want

3. Click the "Request ILL" button

4. Fill out the form, including your library card number and Concordia email address.

5. You will be notified when your ILL is available. Article requests will be emailed to you. 

Books: Students Taking Concordia Online Classes

If you are enrolled in a Concordia class online, including Masters degree classes, print books may be sent to you. 

If you need print books for your work in these classes, be sure to request them as soon as you know you need them. Be aware that Interlibrary Loan can take up to 10 days, but remember that we have access thousands of ebooks that you can access anywhere with reliable internet. 

Books: Travel & Global Studies

The library cannot ship books to students, faculty, and staff on off campus-study (ex: on international study trips). 

If you need print books for your off-campus study, be sure to request them long before you depart for your trip. Be aware that Interlibrary Loan of database articles or print books can take up to 10 days, but remember that we have access thousands of ebooks that you can access while you are studying away.
