Myth, Fable, and Tall Tale Books

​​Myth is in the religion section (usually in the call numbers 222-292) and these stories explain how the world was created, how the sun rises, etc. "Myth" is a searchable term in the Curriculum Center. 

Fables provide a lesson or a moral to the story (think of Aesop's fables).  "Fables" is a searchable term in the Curriculum Center.

Tall Tales are about actual historical people but are exaggerated, such as Paul Bunyan, Mike Fink, and John Henry.  "Tall Tales" is a searchable term in the Curriculum Center. 

Please use the steps below to limit your search to Curriculum Center materials.

1. Go to the library website: https://www.concordiacollege.edu/library 

2. Click on the "Curriculum" tab

3. Enter your search term (Myth or Fables or Tall Tales)

4. Click the dropdown arrow and select "Nonfiction" from the list

5. Click "Search"
