"Poetry" is a searchable term in the Curriculum Center.
Poetry comes in many forms and, while it can often be whimsical or be about fictional things like dragons, it is classified as Nonfiction. The call number range for poetry is 810-812. It is fruitful to browse, as poetry books for children are often made more engaging by the illustrations. Browsing will let you decide how much the illustrations add to the poems.
Please use the steps below to limit your search to Curriculum Center materials.
1. Go to the library website: https://www.concordiacollege.edu/library
2. Click on the "Curriculum" tab
3. Enter "Poetry" as your search term
4. Click the dropdown arrow and select "Nonfiction" from the list
5. Click "Search"
