How to troubleshoot electronic resources

Cannot find the item I want to ILL

If you are having trouble finding an item in the library catalog and you want to submit an ILL request, use our Manual Interlibrary Loan Request Form:

How do I access my ILL article?

When your ILL article is ready to download, you will get an automated email from the library catalog.

To access the article, you will need to do the following:

  1. Open the email with the subject line "The article you requested is now available"
  2. Copy and paste the URL in the email into a new tab.
  3. Enter the password to download the article you requested.

*Note: articles expire after 30 days or 5 downloads, whichever comes first.

Request ILL Button is broken

Sometimes you will find that the Request ILL button is not clickable.

If this happens, try the following:

  1. Copy the title and paste it into the Library Catalog. If you find the item, click the "Request ILL" button.

  1. You can also try clicking "Check Holdings in your Library Catalog" to look for a print copy of the book or article
